The starting salary for state and locally certified teachers is $64,000 (excludes associate teachers). The teacher salary scale has been restructured for equity and is posted on the Aldine ISD website (Employees/Benefits/Compensation Information): 2024-2025 Compensation Plan). Teachers may determine their 2024-25 salary based on their creditable years of service.

To calculate your raise, please refer to your position/job title in the 2024-2025 Compensation Manual.   Find your job title/position in the Compensation Manual and then refer to the midpoint annual salary of your pay grade.  Calculate 1.5% of the midpoint amount and add this amount to your current salary. 

Example: Position / Job Title: Aide-Kindergarten 

  • Refer to the applicable work duty schedule either 187 or 214 days, then look at the midpoint salary amount.  For a 187 schedule, this is 27,706.
  • Calculate 1.5% of 27,706 (27,706 x .015) = $415.59
    This is the amount of your 2024-2025 pay increase.
  • Add $415.59 to your current pay to determine your salary for 2024-2025. 

Additional equity adjustments may be applied across various employee groups, including principals, assistant principals, directors, and executive directors.

Midpoint represents the middle point of an established salary range for positions listed within a pay grade.

All current full-time and part-time employees who worked at least 90 days in the 2023-2024 school year.  The raise is already included in the salaries for new hires.  Temporary employees are not eligible for the raise.

Employees can access the salary letter that is located in Frontline ERP – My Service Center.  Click on My Pay Information, then click on the assignment to see your pay information.

Employees will be able to view their updated compensation statement prior to their first check of the school year by accessing Frontline ERP – My Service Center, then click on My Pay Information.  

Critical need stipends are annualized and paid over the entire year.
