Employees
Employees of Aldine ISD are valued. Aldine Human Resources strives to provide the best customer service to all our employees. We remain available to answer any questions. The Employee section of the website contains information and common forms for employees to reference. The sections contain the following:
As per Board Policy, DFE and DHB, contract employees may resign their position without penalty at the end of any school year if written notice is received at least 45 days before the first day of instruction of the following school year. Employees are required to complete the electronic resignation form found on eportal no later than 11:59 p.m. on June 26, 2023. Contract employees may request a release of contract that will be reviewed by the superintendent. Resignation without consent may result in disciplinary action by the State Board for Educator Certification (SBEC). The district may file a complaint for contract abandonment with the State Board of Educator Certification (SBEC). SBEC may impose sanctions (one-year suspension against the educator’s certificate) against an educator who is employed under a contract for 2023-2024 and who fails, without good cause, to perform the contract.
If you wish to request a release from your 2024-2025 contract after June 28, 2024, you must email the director that oversees your level.

Student Loan Forgiveness Available for Teachers, Others
Federal, state, and public service student-loan forgiveness programs are available for teachers and others. Some of the programs may be affected by the teacher shortage areas, which are based on a list submitted by Texas Education Agency and approved by the U.S. Department of Education. The list of teacher shortage areas for 2020-2021 are:
- Bilingual/English as a Second Language – Elementary and Secondary Levels
- Special Education – Elementary and Secondary Levels
- Career and Technical Education – Secondary Levels
- Technology Applications and Computer Science – Elementary and Secondary Levels
- Mathematics – Secondary Levels
Teachers can submit a request for loan forgiveness for certain types of student loans. Educators should contact their loan servicer for loan forgiveness information and the amount of loan forgiveness they are eligible to receive. The loan holder, not TEA, has authority regarding the provision of that allowance. Please keep in mind that:
- All school personnel can take advantage of the public service program. Information can be found on the Federal Teacher Loan Forgiveness page on the TEA website.
- Additional loan forgiveness options, including loan forgiveness for educators who are not classroom teachers, are found on the Student Loan Forgiveness for Teachers page on the TEA website.
