Online Student Enrollment
Welcome to Aldine ISD!
Register your new student using Aldine ISD’s online registration system powered by PowerSchool Enrollment.
A new student is defined as new to Aldine ISD and having never attended a school in Aldine ISD OR a previous Aldine ISD student who withdrew and is re-enrolling.
Steps to register:
- Prior to beginning online registration, gather the following. Documents must be uploaded into the online application, emailed to the campus registrar, or taken to the campus.
- Proof of Residence
- utility bill (light, water, or gas) or lease agreement
- proof must be dated within the last 30 days
- documents should reflect parent/guardian name and street address
- Official birth certificate or passport of student
- Social security card of student, if available
- Government issued ID card of parent or guardian
- Immunization record
- Last report card or transcript from most recently attended school
- Proof of Residence
- Visit the School Locator web page to find your child’s school they are zoned to attend in their neighborhood.
- Complete the New Student Registration form online by clicking the appropriate button below.
- Call the campus registrar to make an appointment to complete the enrollment process.
- AFTER the student’s enrollment is completed by the campus registrar, set up a Home Access Center account. This account will allow you to view your student’s academic progress, schedule, grades, teacher contact information, test scores, and attendance.
Criteria for Free Pre-Kindergarten (PK)
Texas Law permits tuition-free Pre-K for students who are deemed eligible.
To attend free PK, a child must meet one of the following criteria.
- Be 3 or 4 years of age on or Before September 1 of the given school year
- Live within the boundaries of the Aldine Independent School District
AND meet one of the eligibility requirements below for the tuition-free program
- Economically Disadvantaged: Please open the income chart and find the row that matches the number of family members living in your home to determine eligibility. If Family meets income guidelines for PK. Bring one of the following when you arrive at the school for registration:

- Document with total household income (most recent month’s income)
- If paid in cash, bring current notarized letter indicating income for the last 30 days
- Document proving current amount received from TANF, SSI, SNAP
- Child support letter

- Limited English: Child is unable to speak and understand English (If a language other than English is spoken in the home, PreLAS testing is required, and results will determine if child is eligible )
- Homeless: Child is defined as homeless if his or her family is living in temporary or transitional housing, such as a hotel, motel, car, homeless shelter, shelter not designed for human habitation, such as a tent, or doubled-up with another family. Homeless students are enrolled regardless of documentation.
- US Military: Child of active duty member of the armed forces of the US or child of a member of the US armed forces who was injured or killed while serving on active duty
- Foster Care: Child is or formerly in foster care.
- Star of Texas Award: Child of a Parent/Guardian that is awarded the Star of Texas Award as a peace office, firefighter, or an emergency medical first responder that has been injured or killed on the line of duty. (Parent’s/Guardian’s name must be on the Governor’s list)
