It is with great pleasure that I serve as the Director of Family and Community Engagement (FACE). As a seasoned educator of 20 years, building relationships with families and helping them become advocates for their children’s learning has always been my passion. As a parent of a school-age child, I know the importance and the impact of strong family-school partnerships. As Director, I support the FACE Campus Liaisons by providing them with strategies and resources to ignite partnerships with families to enhance student learning and build capacity within families.

It is a joy when you can embrace the career path you have chosen in life! Before joining the Family and Community Engagement Department, I was a teacher, Instructional Coordinator, Skills Specialist, and Program Director. These roles gave me the foundation needed to be an effective Instructional Leader in my current position as a FACE Specialist. I am dedicated to cultivating meaningful partnerships to bridge the connection between the school and the community. I strongly believe that when we bring the community in the schools and provide families with the resources they need, we can change the trajectory of the community and the next generation.
